Michael Brennan needed to conjure some magic at last week’s Wyndham Championship, and he delivered.
The 24-year-old notched his second career PGA Tour win with a final-round 64 at Sedgefield Country Club to claim victory by three shots over Beau Hossler on Sunday, a performance that not only won Brennan the trophy, but also propelled him into the FedEx Cup Playoffs, which begin with this week’s FedEx St. Jude.
Brennan ascended from No. 105 to No. 47 in the FedEx Cup points standings, and he did it while wearing a particularly snazzy pair of FootJoy golf shoes. The model: FootJoy’s Premiere Series Marquis — a gorgeous, all-white premium waterproof leather spiked shoe that possesses a timeless, classic silhouette.
It’s not often that players gravitate toward these old-school footwear styles, but the vibe blends seamlessly with Brennan’s understated Dunning wardrobe. The whole look is tailored and sophisticated.
And while the shoes’ style may resemble the Classics worn by your father and grandfather, they’re loaded with modern technology to make them as comfortable as they are beautiful.
A rounded toe and slightly narrow heel offers a snug fit while a padded and molded Ortholite tongue helps lock the foot into place. A premiere EVA midsole provides firm cushioning underfoot.
The sole also features flex-promoting concentric circles in the spike design to help you remain stable on any terrain and optimize ground forces through impact.
The FootJoy Premiere — Marquis is available in five colors. Check out the white and black versions in detail below, and click the link to order your pair now.
