The first of three FedEx Cup Playoff events tees it up this week in New Jersey.
A field of quite literally the PGA Tour’s best players are all at Liberty National Golf Course in Jersey City, New Jersey for the 2021 Northern Trust, the first event of the Tour’s postseason.
Last season’s FedEx Cup winner Dustin Johnson, who played the first round without a driver, is back to defend his title at the event which features a total purse of $9,500,000 (with $1,710,000 going to the winner).
