Cameron Smith was king of the greens on Friday at TPC Southwind during the second round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, but even a 62 couldn’t push him into the outright lead. Smith, who remarkably needed only 18 putts in his second round, is 11 under at the halfway point and trails leader Harris English by two shots.
Alongside Smith is Mexico’s Abraham Ancer, who also had a 62 on Friday.
Ian Poulter, Sam Burns and Scottie Scheffler are tied for fourth at 10 under.
