We ate our way around the CJ Cup. Here’s what we loved.

LAS VEGAS — Pan-fried steamed dumplings with Korean chili sauce. Korean crunchy chicken. Korean crunchy chicken mini sliders. While this week’s CJ Cup may have been moved from South Korea to Las Vegas, fans weren’t left with just hot dogs and chips. Those at The Summit Club this week feasted on something you don’t see at most U.S. Tour stops: Korean cuisine, from tournament sponsor Bibigo.

To help all you foodies at home, we tried everything (!) at the event. (Tough work, we know.) If you see us on site, we’re the ones with a big smile and full belly.

Here’s what we tasted:

Pan-fried steamed dumplings with Korean chili sauce

These chicken and vegetable dumplings came with broccolini and were tossed in a Korean chili sauce. The bite-size dumplings are a great option to enjoy at the turn, after play or even while walking down the fairway.

Korean crunchy chicken

Glazed with Bibigo’s signature sweet and spicy sauce, the Korean crunchy chicken is served with potato wedges. You can’t go wrong here. The sweet and spicy sauce was a favorite.

Korean crunchy chicken mini-sliders

Glazed with Bibigo’s signature soy garlic sauce, the sliders were served with cabbage coleslaw. Wow. The perfect midday snack. Or any time of day!

Rose ddukbokki and Bibigo mandu

roseddukbokki

This item featured rice cakes and sausages tossed in tomato-cream sauce, with beef and vegetable Korean dumplings. A filling meal, for sure. It was also packaged just right to be able to enjoy on the go.

Kimchi fried rice

This colorful dish was served with a Korean BBQ-marinated meat patty and egg. Just the right amount of protein and carbs. Another fave.

Slushy sikhe

The slushy sikhe is an icy and refreshing rice drink. The ideal complement to any meal.

Bibigo also had its gotchu Korean hot sauce at the CJ Cup. The sauce went with all of the dishes on site, and its sweet and savory flavor was electric.
