Trick or treat? Golfers celebrate Halloween and we’ve got a round-up of the best costumes

Trick or treat? Hope your neighbors passed on the candy corn (no thank you) and went with the good stuff. And by good stuff, we mean Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, an old-school Kit Kat, and perhaps Starbursts, the red ones, please, right?

Some of our favorite pro golfers let their hair down and got in the Halloween spirit for the October 31 celebration. Here’s a round up of our favorite costumes posted to social media either by golfers, or people who dressed as golfers. We’ll keep adding to the gallery as the day goes along so check back frequently.

Happy Halloween, everybody.

Looks like they had quite the party at Lake Nona Golf Club in Orlando on Saturday. Annika with the Scooby Doo throwback costume of Velma. We’re not sure who Ben An is supposed to be but exceptional shirt-hoody. As for Hatton, we wouldn’t even know that was him in that get up except for the tag.

Zac Blair has been sidelined with injury, which means he’s had plenty of time at home bonding with his young son, Charlie, who is rocking an adorable puppy-dog onesie.

Jena Sims, A.K.A. the future Mrs. Brooks Koepka, dunked on Halloween with a strong take on Michael Jordan. The cigar and the snifter were an especially nice touch in portraying THE GOAT.

JT didn’t let us down with a Halloween social media post. He looks ready to post up as Jackie Moon of Semi Pro fame. Will Ferrell approves.

Even the caddies were getting into the Halloween spirit. Strong effort by brothers Kip and Brent Henley who did a nice Gilligan’s Island portrayal as the Skipper and Gilligan.

With the birth of Sienna-Vie in July, the Finau family is large enough to suit up a starting five, so why not a hoops team for Halloween? They went as the Goon Squad from this year’s sequel to Space Jam. As Finau’s instructor Boyd Summerhays put it, “So good!”

Arrgh!!! We can’t un-see this Photoshopped image of Poults as a pirate. Full point for Poulter for Team Europe for going trick rather than treat. Where’s the Postman’s usual costume? He did deliver on another Sunday at the Ryder Cup but otherwise not so much.

Before his Buffalo Bills took on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, quarterback Josh Allen showed up to the game dressed as 2021 PGA Championship winner Phil Mickelson. From the thumbs up and coffee mug to the shades and calf flex, Allen nailed this one.
