The Australian veteran hasn’t won yet this year, but he’s having a solid season. He’s earned five top-10 finishes and eight total top-20 finishes out of 24 events.

Davis has missed 11 cuts which is a bit alarming, but five of those came in consecutive starts at the beginning of the year. He’s been great of late, finishing T7 at the Wyndham Championship, T10 at the 3M Open and T17 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Better yet, at last year’s FedEx St. Jude Davis had a solid 13th-place finish.

Should you entrust $10 on Davis to win and he pulls it off, you’ll earn $660. For insurance, consider additional bets on Davis to finish top 10 and top 20.

How last week’s long-shot fared

At last week’s Wyndham Championship, we selected Harris English (+6000 odds-to-win) as our long-shot pick. English had a difficult opening-round in which a series of bogeys left him with a 73. But he rallied valiantly on Friday with a 65 to make the cut.

His momentum stalled in Round 3 with a 70, but English clawed back once again with a 66 on Sunday, finishing T33 and just a few shots outside the top 20.

Check out how our long-shot picks have fared all season long below.
