These 30 Korn Ferry Tour players just punched their tickets to the PGA Tour

While the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs officially wrapped with the conclusion of the Tour Championship in August, the Korn Ferry Tour still had several tournaments left on the docket, leading up to the season’s grand finale, the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Newburgh, Ind.

The tournament presented the final opportunity for players to earn their way onto the PGA Tour in 2024, as 30 cards were awarded to the players who finished among the Top 30 on the season-long Korn Ferry Tour points list.

Five players who were outside of the Top 30 at the start of the week played their way to a Tour card: Tournament winner Paul Barjon moved from No. 45 to No. 8 with his second win of the season, while Mac Meissner, Wilson Furr, Josh Teater and Roger Sloan made smaller moves that proved to be significant.

Of the 30 Korn Ferry players who earned their cards on Sunday, 18 will be PGA Tour rookies in 2024.

Notable storylines include Pierceson and Parker Coody, fraternal twins who will become the third generation in their family to compete on the PGA Tour, following grandfather Charles Coody, who won the 1971 Masters, and father, Kyle Coody, who made two PGA Tour starts; Norman Xiong, who became the fifth First-Tee alum to earn a PGA Tour card, and Tom Whitney, who played golf at the United States Air Force Academy and, after graduating in 2010, fulfilled a four-year term on active duty in the U.S. Air Force.
