The Tiger Woods Nike footwear line shook up the traditional golf shoe market back in 2013. 10 years later the shoe that changed it all is set to be reborn. The first-ever Tiger Woods golf shoe was re-released earlier this year.
This week, a new color was released to the public and the Light Smoke Grey/Blue Lightning combo are flying off the shelves.
Although Woods has been spotted wearing FootJoy this year, Nike was a staple in his game for many years. Woods was a fan of the Nike Free running shoe and he wanted the Free’s comfort with the functionality of a golf shoe. Tobie Hatfield took his request and the Nike Tiger Woods shoe was born.
The TW 13′ Retro have all the same iconic finishes such as Woods’ Sunday red and TW branding. Nike engineered the shoe to allow for multi-directional movement and exceptional traction with its six spikes.
