Photos: Valhalla Golf Club is 80 days out from hosting 2024 PGA Championship

The 106th PGA Championship is now 80 days away.

Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, is set to host for the fourth time, May 16-19.

It’s the second men’s major of the 2024 season.

Jack Nicklaus designed the Valhalla course, which was owned by the PGA of America until a group of Louisville investors took control of the club in 2022.

Valhalla is the No. 1-ranked course on the Golfweek’s Best Private Courses 2023: State-by-state rankings of private courses in Kentucky.

The previous PGA champs at Valhalla are Mark Brooks in 1996, Tiger Woods in 2000 and Rory McIlroy in 2014. Brooks Koepka is the defending PGA champion.

Tournament organizers are building out the infrastructure at Valhalla and the Wanamaker Trophy recently toured a Louisville Topgolf.
