A crowd favorite on the PGA Tour thanks in part to his infectious smile and his beautiful head of lettuce, Tommy Fleetwood continues to piece together a fantastic career.
Winning the 2009 Scottish Amateur and the 2010 English Amateur, Fleetwood turned professional on the European Tour in 2010. In 2013, Fleetwood claimed his first pro title, emerging victorious from a three-man playoff at the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.
Despite never being crowned a winner on the PGA Tour, Fleetwood has racked up five wins on the European Tour and has tallied two runner-up finishes in majors (2018 U.S. Open, 2019 Open Championship). Fleetwood also has two Ryder Cup appearances under his belt (2018, 2020), touting a 4-2-2 record.
The Englishman has has proven to be a mainstay in big-time tournaments and especially in the majors. With time, expect Fleetwood to lay claim to at least one of golf’s most coveted trophies.
