The time has come.
Rose Zhang announced Friday morning she was turning professional, ending the greatest female amateur career in the history of the sport. Zhang has been nothing short of elite, setting records and dominating the competition anywhere she teed it up.
On Monday, Zhang won for the eighth time this season, capturing the NCAA Women’s Golf Individual Championship for the second straight year. She also won the ANNIKA Award, given to the best female college golfer, again for the second consecutive season.
Now, she heads to the professional ranks, where she will tee it up next week on the LPGA. Zhang will also make appearances in the four majors remaining on the calendar.
Here’s a look at some of the best photos of Rose Zhang throughout her amateur career.
