The best women’s golfers from the United States and Europe are set to square off in three days of must-see matches from one of the Midwest’s best courses.
The 2021 Solheim Cup tees off on Saturday and ends on Labor Day Monday at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, a Donald Ross design that was restored in 2017-18 by Andrew Green.
Inverness ranks No. 4 on Golfweek’s Best list of private courses in Ohio, and it is tied for No. 47 on Golfweek’s Best Classic Courses list for all layouts built before 1960 in the U.S.
