Breathe it in, folks. Fall is in the air, and with it the Ryder Cup.
The 43rd playing of the biennial event between 12 of the best American and European golfers takes place later this week, Sept. 24-26, at Whistling Straits’ Straits Course in Haven, Wisconsin.
Team Europe has won seven of the last nine Ryder Cups, with the two American wins both coming on home soil. Pete Dye’s masterpiece along the shores of Lake Michigan is a par 71 at 7,390 yards this week.
