Get your TV fired up. And your second screen. And your third screen. And maybe your tablet. You’re going to need multiple viewing options for this year’s Players Championship.
PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ is pulling out all the stops to bring blanket coverage to the 50th rendition of the Tour’s marquee event.
Dubbed All-Access, the fun starts with 21 feeds that promise to show “every shot of every group on every hole on Thursday and Friday mornings,” according to ESPN.
But wait, there’s more.
There will be 30 different streaming experiences on the weekend and all that’s in addition to PGA Tour Live’s “regular” streaming channels which consist of a main feed, featured groups, featured holes and marquee groups.
Featured holes coverage will have live streams of the par-3 third, the drivable par-4 12th and the par-5 16th.
But that’s not all.
One feature that may prove to be one of the most popular is the every-shot-on-the-17th-hole stream. The duo of Smylie Kaufman and Kevin Kisner will be stationed at the island par-3 hole for all the fun.
The fun starts at 7:30 a.m. ET for the first two rounds. Thursday’s first-round tee times start at 7:40 a.m.
Live golf will be on the PGA Tour Live feeds till 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and until 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.
The television broadcast coverage will be on Golf Channel from 1 to 7 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday and on NBC from 2 to 7 p.m. ET on Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.
Roger Maltbie and Gary Koch will join NBC Sports’ broadcast team for the weekend coverage, which will be anchored by Dan Hicks.
