Season two of Netflix’s “Full Swing” PGA Tour docuseries launches Wednesday. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
How to watch ‘Full Swing’ Season 2
The second season of “Full Swing” — a docuseries created by Box to Box and Vox Media Studios — goes live on Netflix on Wednesday, March 6, and will again take golf fans behind the scenes at PGA Tour events and into the homes of PGA Tour stars.
The first season of “Full Swing” was reportedly watched for some 53.1 million hours between February and June, making it the 267th most-watched show on Netflix during that span. The first season followed the pro golf world through the tumultuous 2021-22 campaign, which was dominated by the birth of LIV Golf.
Season two will follow the same documentary-style format as the first season and, like season one, will have eight episodes with each focusing on a different storyline.
“This will be pro golf like you’ve never seen,” said Chad Mumm, the chief creative officer of Vox Media Studios and the executive producer of the show, when speaking to the media at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last month. “We’ve had cameras in places where cameras are never allowed before. We spent a ton of time with players off the course and really get a chance to get inside the world of professional golf. Which is this, as you all know, like amazing kind of traveling circus that moves around and you can’t really understand it unless you’re inside it. So get ready for a deep, new look.”
Confirmed pros in season two are Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley, Tom Kim, Joel Dahmen, Wyndham Clark, Justin Rose, brothers Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick and Ryder Cup captains Zach Johnson and Luke Donald.
