Augusta National Golf Club released the total purse and winner’s share for the 2022 Masters, and it is significantly larger that what was awarded just a year ago.

The total purse is $15 million, up from $11.5 million a year ago. The winner’s payday has also increased, as the champion will receive $2.7 million come Sunday night. Last year, Hideki Matsuyama earned $2.07 million for his victory.

In fact, the top three finishers all bring home more than $1 million this year. Second place receives $1.62 million and third gets $1.02 million.

The Masters’ $15 million purse is the highest ever for any golf major, but still trails behind the Players, which doled out a $20 million purse last month. The previous highest purse in a major was $12.5 million via last year’s U.S. Open.

Below is the payout breakdown for the top 50 in the 2022 Masters. The remainder of the professionals will receive downward increments starting from $36,900.
