Marco Simone price: Membership cost, greens fees at the Ryder Cup course

Watching the Ryder Cup? Aching to plan your next golf trip? Well if this weekend’s Ryder Cup host is motivating you at all, just know you can play it too.

Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, located in Guidonia, just outside of Rome, Italy, is a first-time Ryder Cup host. It’s also hosted the Italian Open for the past three years. The par-72 championship course is a bit of a question mark entering this week since there’s never been a big-time match-play event held there, but pros (and fans sitting at home) will find out how it performs soon.

It’s also a course you can tee it up on. The public rate for weekdays and weekends during the off-season is €190 — about 200 U.S. dollars — and €220 during peak season. During the Ryder Cup season — basically the month of October — you’ll pay the highest greens fee at €350. (For context, the last Ryder Cup venue, Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, charged a peak rate of $485 two years ago.)

There’s also discounts for guests of members and regional players. A one-year membership at the course (which consists of 10 18-hole rounds) is €1,060, or $1,120. You can check out the entire pricing structure below. To learn more about the course, click here.
