With football season in the past, who’s ready for a little Monday Night Golf?
The latest edition of Capital One’s The Match is a mixed event featuring four of the best players on both the PGA Tour and LPGA: Max Homa, Rory McIlroy, Lexi Thompson and Rose Zhang. The players are competing in a 12-hole mixed skins match at The Park in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The ninth edition of the made-for-TV event is hosted by Ernie Johnson, who will be joined by Charles Barkley, Trevor Immelman and Christina Kim. Kathryn Tappen serves as the on-course reporter, with contributions from DJ Khaled and Paul Bissonnette.

Rose Zhang flew in Sunday night from California to compete in The Match and will head back Monday night when it’s over to get back to classes at Stanford.
“This is way outside of my comfort zone,” said Zhang with a smile as took a break from warming up during TNT’s pre-game show.
Zhang opened the 2024 LPGA season at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando at Lake Nona and then went back to class. She’ll skip the entire Asian swing and return to action at the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club. Zhang plans to graduate with a degree in communications after five years at Stanford in 2026.
“Stanford has a requirement of 180 units,” she explained earlier this year. “I finished around 90-ish units. I’m just going to keep doing the 20 units per winter quarter. Maybe take a couple online classes if I’m allowed to in other quarters.”
Zhang has a full course load this quarter with classes in journalism, political science and media psych.
