Jordan Spieth keeps stacking up incredible accomplishments one after another.
He won his 13th PGA Tour event at the 2022 RBC Heritage on Sunday, doing it on Easter Sunday one year after he won his 12th event, also on Easter Sunday, at the Valero Texas Open. He is the 82nd player to get to 13 wins and is now tied for 72nd on the Tour’s all-time wins list.
According to golf stats guru Justin Ray, Spieth joins Rory McIlroy, Byron Nelson, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players since 1940 with 13 PGA Tour wins and a major before the age of 29.
Spieth pocketed $1,440,000 for his work at Harbour Town Golf Links and that pushed his career on-course earnings total to $50,578,855. He has moved past Ernie Els and Jason Day into the 11th spot. He is about $3.7 million behind Sergio Garcia.
