The third round of the 2022 U.S. Open begins Saturday, June 18, at The Country Club in Brookline. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 3 of the U.S. Open on TV or online.

Previewing U.S. Open Round 3

PGA Tour star Collin Morikawa is only 25 years old, but incredibly he is already halfway to his third major championship title. Morikawa, winner of the 2020 PGA and 2021 Open Championship, put together a stellar round of four-under 66 Friday on a difficult day at The Country Club. That left him tied for the lead with Joel Dahmen heading into Saturday’s third round.

But there are plenty of intimidating champions lurking just behind ready to unseat Morikawa in Round 3. Among them is 2011 U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy, who battled back from an early double bogey to reach four under at the halfway point.

He’s tied with four other players, among them defending champion Jon Rahm. Recent major champions Scottie Scheffler (three under), Brooks Koepka (even) and Justin Thomas (one over) are well within striking distance with two rounds to play.
