Some of the best golfers in the world are in Scotland right now, playing in the Genesis Scottish Open and prepping for next week’s final major of the season.
But back over in the States, set in dreamy Lake Tahoe, Nev., a very different golf tournament is about to get underway. The American Century Championship kicks off on Friday at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course with some of the sports world’s biggest stars.
No, you won’t see Jordan Spieth or Rory McIlroy here. But you will see the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Steph Curry, John Elway and Aaron Rodgers.
The American Century Championship runs Friday to Sunday, with the first round airing from 4-6 p.m. ET on Peacock and running again on tape delay from 9:30-11:30 p.m. on Golf Channel. The weekend rounds are both 2:30-6 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
Dubbed as golf’s premier celebrity golf tournament, this is the 34th playing of the event, which is also used as a fundraiser for local and national charities. The tournament is 54 holes with a Stableford format and pays out a $600,000 purse, with $125,000 going to the winner. Tony Romo is the defending champion.
Below are the handicaps, courtesy of ACC media relations, for all the celebrities in the event.
