Someone is leaving Atlanta $18 million richer than when they arrived come Sunday night.
The final round of the Tour Championship is underway, and with that comes numerous changes to the payout structure of the event. A year ago, there was $60 million up for grabs, with $15 million going to the winner. This year, however, those numbers are $75 million and $18 million, respectively.
The increased bonus pool means that the top-10 finishers will bank seven-figure paydays and the 30th-place finisher will make $500,000.
There is no longer a purse—like there is at all the other tournaments—for the Tour Championship. The FedEx Cup Playoffs bonus money is the only money that players earn at East Lake.

Scottie Scheffler is in the driver’s seat for the $18 million prize, leading by six shots heading into the final round. Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele sit tied for second and will look to mark another big come-from-behind victory.
The bonus money will also be split into cash and deferred payments. Here’s a breakdown of the money up for grabs at East Lake.
