The 2023 PGA Championship purse has increased significantly over the years.

Just two years ago, in 2021, the purse was set at $12 million, a record total for the tournament, and a number that was surpassed by only the U.S. Open. Last year, the 2022 PGA Championship purse increased to $15 million. And this year, the 2023 PGA Championship purse jumped yet again to a whopping total of $17.5 million. (The Players Championship remains the richest purse in golf at a total of $25 million.)

This year’s PGA champion will surpass the payout received by 2022 champion, Justin Thomas, by an impressive $450,000, with a $3.15 million total payday. The runner-up will receive a cool $1.89 million, and third place will clear seven figures too, with a payout of $1.19 million.

Even the players who missed the cut receive a payout of $4,000 each. So how much did the rest of the players in the field come away with this year? You can find a complete list of the 2023 PGA Championship payouts for each player below.
