Dallas Baptist starts out No. 1 in 2022-23 Mizuno WGCA Div. II preseason coaches poll


Findlay collected the most first-place votes with seven, but Dallas Baptist is the No. 1-ranked team in the 2022-23 Mizuno WGCA Div. II preseason coaches poll for women’s golf, which was released Friday.

DBU got five of the of the 13 available first-place votes, but edged defending Div. II champion Findlay in total points in the poll to snag the top spot.

Andseron garnered the remaining first-place vote and will check in at No. 3 in the poll.

Lynn is No. 4 and Limestone, which finished runner up last spring in the NCAAs, is No. 5.

About the Women’s Golf Coaches Association

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women’s collegiate golf coaches.
