Jacob Bridgeman sandwiched a 66 between a pair of 67s for a tasty win at the recent Linger Longer Invitational.
The Clemson senior finished at 16 under par for a six-shot win, tying PGA Tour pro Doc Redman (2015-16 season) for the largest margin of victory in program history.
“It was great to watch,” said Clemson head coach Jordan Byrd via a release. “Jacob was so consistent the entire tournament, but especially as he closed the door on the field (in the final round). I followed him the last six holes and watched him make four birdies and a par. He was just very impressive all day.”
Bridgeman earned his fourth career victory after starting the 54-hole event with 40 bogey-free holes.
