Campbell won the stroke play and match play portions of the Big South Championship, defeating USC Upstate in the final match, 3-2, for their sixth consecutive conference title.
“This turned on a dime; it could have gone any way on multiple putts, shots, irons and decisions,” said head coach John Crooks. “Patricia (Garre Munoz) was fabulous, but so was Tomi (Arejola) and Sanna (Lundmark); they both won their matches convincingly. Anna (Nordfors) came from 3 down to force extra holes and Emily (Hawkins) came from 3 down to extend her match to 17 holes. We’re fortunate to be the Big South Conference champions.”
