TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, site of this week’s WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, was designed by architect Ron Prichard with consultation from PGA Tour players Hubert Green and Fuzzy Zoeller. The private golf club opened in 1988 on land once occupied by a dairy farm.
TPC Southwind has been the host site of the FedEx St. Jude Classic and more recently the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational since 1989. The layout was renovated following the 2004 event.
