The top two players on the leaderboard at the Wyndham Championship also happen to be the only two pros playing their way into the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Lucas Glover and Billy Horschel shot 62 and 63, respectively, to sit atop the leaderboard at 18 under entering the final round of the PGA Tour regular season.
Both players entered the week outside the top 110 in the FedEx Cup standings and both can still make the playoffs with two-way ties for second or better.
The pair is followed closely by second-round leader Russell Henley, who birdied the 18th hole to shoot 65 and get in at 17 under.
However, further down the board is where some real dogfights are breaking out for the playoffs. Justin Thomas, currently in a tie for 11th, needs a solo ninth or better to avoid missing the playoffs for the first time as a PGA Tour member.
The final pairing of Glover and Horschel goes off at 1:55 p.m. ET. You can stream Sunday’s final round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET or watch the action on Golf Channel starting at 1 p.m. ET with CBS taking over at 3 p.m. ET.
