There’s more than just money on the line at today’s conclusion of the John Deere Classic. Sure, the winner will get $1.332 million out of the $7.4 million purse, but, for most, there’s also a spot in the field for Royal Liverpool on the line.

The John Deere Classic is a part of the Open Qualifying Series, meaning the top three players not already qualified for the Open Championship earn spots for Royal Liverpool July 20-23.

Brendon Todd, for example, is the 54-hole leader at 16 under, and he missed out on last year’s Open. He could still qualify for it without winning on Sunday, but you know he’s eyeing his fourth career PGA Tour victory as well.

Here’s the payout breakdown for the 2023 John Deere Classic, which you can watch from 1-3 p.m. (ET) on Golf Channel and from 3-6 p.m. on CBS.
