The opening round of the PGA Championship got off to a late start Thursday morning after frost on the course delayed play by almost two hours. Once things got going, players were faced with a tough test in Oak Hill’s East Course.

Among the few players to go low were 2020 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau (-4), two-time major winner Dustin Johnson (-3). World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler (-3) and 2013 Masters champion Adam Scott (-2).

But several players were still on the course when play was suspended Thursday night. Before the second round can get underway, those players will return to Oak Hill Friday at 7 a.m. ET to complete Round 1. Round 2 will begin as scheduled.

How to watch PGA Championship on TV Friday

ESPN will carry the second round of the 2023 PGA Championship on TV with a six-hour telecast from 1-7 p.m. ET on Friday. ESPN will also offer an alternate telecast from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. ET that switches over to ESPN 2 from 1-3 p.m. ET.
