Watch Cameron Champ play as Cameron Champ in the new EA Sports PGA Tour

Ever wonder who might be better: real Cameron Champ or video game Cameron Champ? GOLF Subpar co-hosts Colt Knost and Drew Stoltz found out when they played against Champ in a match on the new EA Sports PGA Tour.

We’ll let you watch above to find out who won — spoiler alert: Champ still hits it really far — but you can also hear Champ detail the experience of getting his swing motion captured to be included in the game.

EA Sports PGA Tour: Road to the Masters is a golf game unlike any other

“There were probably like 100 cameras,” Champ said. “And they had me make swings and gestures and do all this stuff.”

Champ wasn’t yet a pro for the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay, where the trio picked to play nine holes on the video game, but he did compete there the year after the Open in an amateur event. That experience paid off when he expertly used the slope on the driveable par-4 12th to curl his ball to 8 feet away and make the putt for eagle.
