Photos: Adam Scott through the years

Following Greg Norman’s retirement, the question wasn’t who would replace the Shark as golf’s most famous Australian — but when.

Bursting onto the scene in the early 2000s, Adam Scott turned heads with his nearly perfect golf swing. The effortlessness and silky smooth rhythm of his movements helped him win big on Tour.

In his first three years on Tour, Scott racked up three wins including the 2004 Players Championship. Atop leaderboards regularly on both the PGA Tour and European Tour, Scott broke through with his first major win in 2013 at the Masters.

With more than 30 wins worldwide, Scott is surely a lock for the World Golf Hall of Fame.
