The final round of the 2022 PGA Championship begins Sunday morning at Southern Hills, where the contenders will battle over the final 18 holes for the right to hoist the Wanamaker trophy. Final round tee times for the PGA Championship will be determined upon the completion of play Saturday night. Once they are released, they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post.
Predicting PGA Final Round tee times
While we won’t know the official final round tee times for Sunday at Southern Hills until the third round is complete on Saturday night, what we do know already is that players will tee off in pairings, with everyone starting off the 1st tee. The two players at the top of the leaderboard will occupy the final pairing, with the pros at the bottom of the heap opening the action Sunday morning.
While we don’t know the tee times yet, we can look to the past to get a good idea of when everyone will play on Sunday.
For Sunday’s final round at the 2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island’s Ocean Course, veteran Brian Gay teed off first in a solo group at 7:30 a.m. ET. Phil Mickelson, the 54-hole leader and eventual winner, teed off in the final pairing at 2:30 p.m. ET alongside Brooks Koepka. You can expect tee times for this year’s final round to be similar.
ESPN and CBS will share the TV coverage on Sunday, and you can stream all of the final-round action online via ESPN+ starting in the morning.
