You know what they say. Look good. Feel good. Play well.
The players always break out their best duds for major championships, and this year is no different. Most of the big apparel sponsors — Puma, Nike, Adidas — create special product lines that pay homage to the event in some way, while other brands like Greyson, Ralph Lauren and Original Penguin deck their guys out in spring-forward florals. Regardless, these outfits feel much more special than a normal week on the PGA Tour.
Now that play is *officially* underway, here’s whose outfits we think won the day.
Justin Thomas
Ever since JT started wearing Greyson, his outfits have been on point. The Masters is no different. Justin donned one of Greyson Clothier’s signature microprint polos. His navy pants are a unique navy color — they’re a little more grey-toned than a typical navy. They’re classic, but refreshing. He ties the look together with a classic two-toned pair of FootJoys.
Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods isn’t necessarily known for his great fashion sense, but the man knows how to pull off a mock neck. This azalea pink number has a unique pattern, and shows that Tiger means business this week. We love to see it.
Austin Greaser
This guy might be an amateur, but he dresses like a pro. Repping his college team, UNC, his Carolina blue polo and khaki pants look clean and spring forward. We especially like that his caddie has matching Jordans too.
Tony Finau
Tony rocked a navy blue vertical striped polo from Nike that has a retro-cool feel. He paired it back to his signature white Nike kicks.
Garrick Higgo
Garrick paired a flat brim rope cap back to a floral polo. Even though this look is rooted in black, it still feels spring forward and he pulled it off.
