On December 8th, Tiger Woods announced that he, and son Charlie, committed to play in this week’s PNC Championship, just 10 months after his car accident.
Incredible.
The last time we saw Woods play golf on television was at this event back in 2020. Time really is a flat circle.
However, the Woods-duo isn’t the only big-name partnership headed to Florida. Defending champions Justin and his father Mike Thomas will look to triumph again. Bubba Watson will be playing with his father-in-law, while Nelly Korda will be playing with her dad, Petr.
Here’s a look at the 20 partnerships at this year’s PNC Championship, which requires that each team have a major champion. The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes is the host venue.
The 2002 PGA Championship winner is in the field this week with his son, Michael. He announced his exemption into the event with a video on Twitter saying “team Beem is going to bring it, baby.”
Reagan first caddied for his dad, Stewert, at the Safeway Open in 2020. Cink would go on to win that week, and after another good finish at the Bermuda Championship (T-4), decided to keep his son on the bag full-time.

The Dalys have played in five PNC Championships, with their best finish coming in 2018 (2nd). Little John followed in his dad’s footsteps and is currently golfing at the University of Arkansas. Daly, now playing on the Champions Tour, hasn’t finished inside the top 10 in an event since the first week of May.
Back in 2016, Duval won the PNCC with his stepson, Nick. This time around, the former World No. 1 with be teeing it up with his son, Brayden, who caddied for him at the Furyk & Friends.
The three-time Masters champion is now famous for his work in the booth, but Nick Faldo will be putting the golf shoes back on and teeing it up with his son, Matthew.
Jim Furyk, who won the Senior U.S. Open Championship last season on the PGA Tour Champions, will play with his son Tanner this year. The pair finished T-9 last season.
Harrington, the captain of the losing European Ryder Cup team earlier this year, will play with his son, Paddy, this season at the PNCC.
The list of things Nelly Korda achieved this year is almost too long to include, but the Olympic golf medalist will play with her dad, Petr.
The Kuchar son/father duo finished T-5 last season at the PNC Championship, and will look to improve on their impressive finish this season.
The Lehman pair finished T-9 last season at the PNC Championship. Sean currently plays golf for Cal Poly University.
The former Masters champion and son, Shaun, finished T-3 at the PNC Championship last season.
Last season, Gary Player finished 16th at the PNC Championship while playing with his grandson, James Player. This year, he’ll play with another grandson, Jordan.
The Price father-son duo finished T-14 at last season’s PNC Championship.
This will be Henrik Stenson’s first appearance at the PNC Championship. His most recent victory came at the 2019 Hero World Challenge.
The Thomas-duo enters the week as the defending champions and will look to capture back-to-back titles.
The 81-year-old Trevino will once again tee it up with his son, Daniel.
The two-time Masters champion will be teeing it up with his father-in-law, Wayne Ball.
The five-time Champion Golfer of the Year returns to the golf course with son, Michael.
Team Singh finished runner-up to the Thomas’ at the PNC Championship last season.
