Thanks to a couple of 64s to start his week, Wyndham Clark has grabbed the 36-hole lead at the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, the second event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Here’s what you need to know for Round 3 Saturday.
How to watch Round 3 of the BMW Championship
At 12 under, Clark leads Gary Woodland by one and J.J. Spaun by two, with guys like Rory McIlroy (seven under) and Justin Thomas (six under) still in the mix as well.
Woodland is one of a handful of bubble players who need to play well to secure one of the 30 spots in next week’s Tour Championship.
“My focus right now is one day at a time,” Woodland said Friday. “I don’t have that luxury to look ahead. I got to focus on making sure I take care of myself right now. Tomorrow’s a new day, and hopefully I get some rest tonight and I’ll show up tomorrow and see how it comes. But I don’t have the luxury to look ahead anymore.”
Woodland and Clark, in the final pairing Saturday, tee off at 1:50 p.m. ET.
