PopStroke’s Invitational Series makes its Nashville debut with a $70K purse on the line

If you’re a player who considers “putting for dough” a personal specialty, there’s an upcoming event you won’t want to miss.

Mark your calendar for September 23, when the PopStroke Invitational presented by TaylorMade in partnership with 8AM Golf takes over PopStroke Nashville with a guaranteed $70,000 prize purse on the line. Local athletes, celebrities and creators will be on the greens competing alongside everyday players, with live music from Nashville artists keeping the energy going all night.

The Nashville Invitational marks the fourth stop in PopStroke’s Invitational series, following successful events in Sarasota, Scottsdale and Palm Beach. This time, the competition opens up to golfers local to Nashville, giving the city’s own players a shot at the spotlight. It’s the latest expression of something PopStroke has been building for years, with weekly putting leagues already underway at locations nationwide, and a growing belief that competitive play is where golf entertainment is headed.

Seventy-two two-player teams will battle it out in a best-ball format across two full rounds at PopStroke Nashville, competing for the top prize. Ahead of the main event, 144 individual players will compete in two rounds Tuesday night, with the lowest score taking home the individual title.

Team and individual registration is first-come, first-served. The cost is $500 per two-player team and $250 per individual. The price of entry includes food and beverage, live music and a player gift bag. Non-competing spectators will also be welcome during the tournament to enjoy the competition and vibes.

PopStroke Nashville is the largest build-out in the PopStroke portfolio, which includes more than 20 locations and is backed by strategic investors Tiger Woods and TaylorMade. Founded by Greg Bartoli, PopStroke has redefined what golf entertainment can look like, In Nashville, three custom-designed putting courses, both indoor and outdoor and spread across 5.4 acres, are built for a level of competition the brand plans to keep raising. There’s also a scratch kitchen restaurant called BarTenders Eatery, and a rooftop bar pouring custom cocktails and craft beers delivered to guests on course. An on-site ice cream parlor, playground and outdoor gaming keep the whole crew entertained long after the last putt drops.
