How to watch Valspar Championship on Friday
Your early leader at the Valspar Championship is Sungjae Im. The two-time PGA Tour winner went seven under through his first 10 holes on Thursday, then played even par the rest of the way to shoot a 64. His seven-under total gives him a one-shot lead heading into Friday’s second round.
In second place is Tour veteran Brandt Snedeker. The 45-year-old nine-time Tour winner, who will captain the U.S. Presidents Cup team later this year, shot a 65 on Day 1. He’s looking for his first win since 2018.
Xander Schauffele and Matt Fitzpatrick will start Round 2 tied at three under, while Jordan Spieth is another shot back at two under.
