2024 Players Championship Thursday TV coverage: How to watch Round 1

The 2024 Players Championship gets underway Thursday morning with the opening round at TPC Sawgrass in Florida. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online, including complete Players Championship TV coverage.

Previewing Round 1

Since last summer, Scottie Scheffler has reigned atop the Official World Golf Ranking, despite not having won a tournament during that span. That all changed last week, when Scheffler blitzed the field for a Signature Event win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Now Scheffler heads back to TPC Sawgrass, where he also hoisted the trophy last year, in search of a repeat victory and his eighth career PGA Tour win.

To capture it, he’ll have to get past the PGA Tour’s best, including Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth and more. And it all gets started with Thursday’s opening round.
