The 2023 Ryder Cup continues on Saturday, September 30, with the second day of matches at Marco Simone in Italy. Complete Ryder Cup Saturday pairings and matchups will be announced Friday afternoon. Once they are released, they will be reproduced below.
Ryder Cup Saturday preview
For both the U.S. and European teams, selecting pairings for the second day of matches is a tall task. While captains had months to pick the perfect teams for Friday’s opening session, Saturday’s pairings have to be made on the fly on Day 1 while the competition is wrapping up.
Players performances on Friday will have a big influence on the selections for Saturday, with the U.S. team needing to make a major comeback to prevent a historic European win.
On Saturday, the teams will compete across four foursomes, or alternate shot, matches in the first session, before switching to the four-ball format for the second session of the day.
Only eight players per team will compete in each session, which means four pros per team will not participate in each session.
The first set of matches will get underway on Saturday at 1:35 a.m. ET (7:35 a.m. local time), with the second session kicking off at 6:25 a.m. ET.
USA will open the TV coverage at 1:30 a.m. ET before NBC takes over with a broadcast from 3 a.m. ET-12 p.m. ET. Viewers who prefer to stream the action online can watch Saturday Ryder Cup coverage via Peacock, including a live simulcast of NBC’s telecast.
