The 2023 Open Championship advances to weekend play on Saturday, July 22, with the third round at Royal Liverpool Golf Club in England. Round 3 Open Championship tee times will be determined upon the completion of the second round Friday night. Once they are released, they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post.
Predicting Open Round 3 tee times
We won’t know the official Saturday tee times for this year’s Open Championship until players finish their second rounds on Friday and the cut is made. But by looking to the past, we can get a good idea of roughly when the tee times will fall for Round 3 at Royal Liverpool.
On Saturday at last year’s Open at St. Andrews, third-round tee times began at 3:35 a.m. ET, when Richard Mansell set off in a group by himself. The final pairing, featuring Cameron Young and eventual winner Cameron Smith, teed off at 10:55 a.m. ET.
Barring any bad weather, we can expect Saturday tee times for this year’s Open to be similar.
