The second LPGA major of the season comes to a close Sunday with the final round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship from Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey.

Continuing a trend of massive purse increases in the women’s majors, this year’s Women’s PGA Championship is being played for a record $10 million purse. That’s an increase of $1 million from 2022 when the purse doubled from the year prior. The $10 million number also ties last year’s U.S. Women’s Open purse for the largest of all time for a women’s major.

The winner will walk away with a $1.5 million first-place prize.

Ireland’s Leona Maguire entered the final round with a one-shot lead over Jenny Shin at seven under. Playing in her first major as a professional, Rose Zhang is six back at one under.

The final round begins at 10 a.m. ET on Peacock, and NBC takes over the coverage from 2-6 p.m.

Due to the threat of storms, final-round tee times were moved up and play went off in threesomes. However, play was suspended at 1:02 p.m. due to lightning in the area.
