The 2022 U.S. Open comes to an end on Sunday, where one player will rise above the rest at The Country Club to make history. Final round tee times will be determined at the end of Round 3 Saturday night. Once they are released they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post.

Predicting U.S. Open tee times for Sunday

We’ll have to wait until after the final putt drops in Saturday’s second round to know exactly who will play with who on Sunday, and when they will tee off. What we do know is that the players will go off in pairings, with those at the bottom of the leaderboard starting their rounds in the morning, and the leaders going off last Sunday afternoon.

And by looking to past U.S. Opens, we can get a rough idea of when the tee times will fall.

At the 2018 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills — the last Open to be played on the East Coast in June — Andrew “Beef” Johnston teed off first at 8:21 a.m. ET, and he did so alone due to an odd number of players making the cut. The final pairing teed off at 2:24 p.m. ET and featured Tony Finau and Daniel Berger (and not eventual champion Brooks Koepka, who played in the penultimate pairing).

We can expect final-round tee times for the 2022 U.S. Open this Sunday to fall in a similar window, with play and the TV broadcast ending around 7 p.m. ET.

TV coverage of Sunday’s final round will be available on NBC and USA, and you can stream the final-round action live online via Peacock and USOpen.com. Click through to see our full U.S. Open TV and streaming schedules.
