2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic tee times: Round 3 pairings for Saturday

The 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic continues on Saturday, July 30, with the third round at Detroit Golf Club in Michigan. Round 3 tee times will be determined once play is complete Friday night. Once they are released they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post.

Predicting tee times for Rocket Mortgage Classic Round 3

Whatever the tee times ending up being for Saturday’s round at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, you can be sure that Cameron Young will be teeing off on the later side.

The rising Tour star, who nearly pulled off a breakthrough win at the 2022 Open Championship earlier this month, fired an incredible nine-under 63 on Friday — the low round of the tournament so far — to shoot up the leaderboard and reach 10 under. That put him in the lead at the time, though the first-round co-leaders had yet to tee off.

Though we won’t know Saturday’s tee times until after the final putt drops in Round 2, we can look back to last year’s event to get a good idea of when they will fall.

At the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic, Joaquin Niemann and Tom Lewis were the final group out for Saturday’s third round, teeing off at 2:05 p.m. ET. At the other end of the field, Phil Mickelson got the round started playing alone at 7:35 a.m. ET. You can expect tee times for this year’s third round to be similar.
