The Masters is over, but the PGA Tour season is far from it. This week the pros hit Harbour Town for the 2022 RBC Heritage. A trio of Masters contenders are among the favorites, according to the RBC Heritage odds via BetMGM, including one who hasn’t captured a victory in a long time. Here’s what you need to know.

2022 RBC Heritage odds: This week’s favorites

Given that the Heritage starts just four days after the Masters finished, it’s surprising there are so many Masters contenders in the field. What’s not surprising is that they find themselves at the top of the list of betting favorites to win this week.

Leading the way tied at +1200 is Collin Morikawa, who finished 5th at Augusta, and Justin Thomas, who ended up T8 last week.

Interestingly, Thomas hasn’t won a PGA Tour event since March 2021. Despite that, he’s ranked above Cameron Smith (+1400), the man who went head-to-head with Scottie Scheffler on Sunday.

Shane Lowry, who finished T3 alongside Smith at the Masters, comes in at +2200.

2022 RBC Heritage odds: Long shot of the week

It’s not often we get a long shot of the week with a legitimate chance to win, but Harry Higgs fits the bill this week. It’s true that the popular 30-year-old pro has yet to secure a PGA Tour win in his career, but Higgs is playing well right now.

How well? He just finished T14 in his very first Masters appearance. His odds to win the Heritage? They are at +20000.

Higgs has made the cut in both of his career starts at Harbour Town, in 2020 and 2021, and he’s bound to get his first win somewhere one of these days. Should it happen this week, you could turn a $100 bet into $20,000.
