2022 Memorial Tournament tee times: Round 1 groupings for Thursday

Rory McIlroy seems to be on the precipice of winning heading into the 2022 Memorial.

Darren Carroll/PGA of America

The 2022 Memorial Tournament hosted by Jack Nicklaus begins Thursday morning at Muirfield Village. You can find full Round 1 tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.

Heading into the Memorial, two players are tied as betting favorites: Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm. Rahm won this event in 2020 and should have again last year on his way to the No. 1 ranking. But Rory has the hot hand right now.

In his last three starts, McIlroy finished runner-up at the Masters, solo-fifth at the Wells Fargo Championship, and finally eighth at the PGA Championship, where he contended for the win until the weekend.

Now Rory will try his hand at Muirfield Village and the Memorial, one of the few big PGA Tour events he has yet to win in his storied career.

McIlroy will get his tournament started on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET alongside Hideki Matsuyama and Patrick Reed. You can stream Thursday’s first round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+.
