The 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship, the first event of the 2022 FedEx Cup Playoffs, gets underway this week at TPC Southwind in Memphis. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.

FedEx St. Jude preview

Heading into the first playoff event last year, Scottie Scheffler had yet to capture a PGA Tour win. Same goes for when the playoffs concluded at the 2021 Tour Championship. But since then, everything has changed for Scheffler.

The 26-year-old took the Tour by storm this spring, capturing his first career win and then adding three more in quick succession, including his first major win at the Masters. All of that was good enough to make him the World No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Scheffler will begin his playoffs on Thursday at the St. Jude, teeing off at 9:21 a.m. ET alongside Cameron Smith and Sam Burns.
