The action is just starting to heat up at the 2021 Tour Championship, with one round almost out of the way, and Round 2 coming up fast on Friday. Round 2 tee times will be determined after the completion of the opening round Thursday night. Once they are released they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post.

Tour Championship Round 2 Preview

It’s hard not to have good storylines at the Tour Championship when the field is made up of the best 30 players on Tour, and Thursday’s round at East Lake was not short of them. Pre-tournament FedEx Cup leader Patrick Cantlay began the day at 10 under, and he’s holding strong so far. World No. 1 Jon Rahm is not letting him rest easy though, having dropped several birdies early in his round.

Star players like Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka and Jordan Spieth are also making early moves up the leaderboard, and making up ground on the players who started ahead of them. For Friday’s second round, players will be paired based on their standing at the end of Round 1. The players in first and second place will tee off in the final group, with the players at the bottom of the leaderboard teeing off early.

Tee times for Round 1 ran from 11:40 a.m. ET to 2:00 p.m. ET, with all players going off the 1st tee. You can expect the Round 2 times to follow a similar pattern, but you’ll have to wait until the final putt drops to find out the pairings.
