Final round tee times will be determined Saturday evening at the end of Round 3. Once they are released they will be reproduced below.

Predicting Sunday tee times for Open Championship Round 4

It all comes down to this. There are only 18 holes to go before we find out who the new Open champion is, and several star players, like Jordan Spieth, Louis Oosthuizen and Collin Morikawa, are firmly in contention. We don’t yet know when they will tee off for the final round on Sunday at this 2021 Open Championship, but we can look to the past to get an idea of what the times will be.

On Saturday, Yuxin Lin was the first player to tee off at 4:20 am. ET, or 9:20 am. local time, which is currently British Summer Time. The final pairing began its round at 10:55 a.m. ET. For further insight into what the final round tee times will be, we can look back to the last playing of the Open Championship in 2019. That year the Open was played at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland in the same time zone as this week’s event.

On that Sunday, a poor weather forecast for the afternoon forced The R&A to push up tee times. Ashton Turner ended up going off first at 2:32 a.m. ET, with champion Shane Lowry beginning his winning final round at 8:47 a.m. ET alongside Tommy Fleetwood.

The weather forecast for Sunday at the 2021 Open Championship is good, so tee times shouldn’t be moved up like they were in 2019. Instead, you can expect them to be more similar to Saturday’s round, though likely a little earlier, falling somewhere from 3-10:30 a.m. ET.
