After a one-year layoff, the Hero World Challenge hosted by Tiger Woods is back, with the first round kicking off Thursday in The Bahamas. You can find full Round 1 tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.
Notable groupings for Hero World Challenge Round 1
There are only 20 players in the field at this week’s Hero World Challenge, but every single one of them is among the most accomplished players in the game. That includes Bryson DeChambeau. The World No. 7 hasn’t played much on Tour since the Ryder Cup, but golf fans have seen him in action a couple of times.
He made a star appearance in the World Long Drive Championships in September, then faced off against rival Brooks Koepka in a much-hyped exhibition match in Las Vegas, which he lost. Now he’s back and ready to test his game against the elite of the PGA Tour, like Collin Morikawa, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and more.
DeChambeau will be paired with Jordan Spieth for the opening round at Albany. The pair will tee off in the final grouping at 12:44 p.m. ET. Matthew Fitzpatrick and Tyrrell Hatton will get things started in the first pairing beginning at 11:05 a.m. ET.
